It is open to children entering grades 2-8 in the fall.  It is located in the beautiful, rustic foothills of Sonora California on 143 wooded acres and is owned and operated by Stanislaus County Office of Education.&lt;br /&gt;

&#039;&#039;&#039;Campers&#039;&#039;&#039; are kids who are currently in grades 1-7 and will be entering grades 2-8 in the fall of the Summer Camp year. Campers bunk in the dorms with kids their own age and may request to be bunkmates with their friends who enroll with them for the same session. They will have the opportunity to interact with other age groups for all other activities.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Once children enter 9th grade, they become Counselors in Training (CITs), followed by Junior Counselors (JCs). Through this 4-year progressive program, CITs and JCs learn leadership skills, responsibility, independence, and program creation. They support campers by supervising, leading classes, and building impressive scenes for the theme of each week.&lt;br /&gt;

Foothill Horizons Summer Camp is a one-of-a-kind summer camp for FUN, friendship, imagination, and independence!  Since opening its doors to campers in 1980, Foothill Horizons Summer Camp has welcomed generations of families from California, across the United States, and even from around the world for over 40 years!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It is open to children entering grades 2-8 in the fall.  It is located in the beautiful, rustic foothills of Sonora California on 143 wooded acres and is owned and operated by Stanislaus County Office of Education.&lt;br /&gt;

&#039;&#039;&#039;Campers&#039;&#039;&#039; are kids who are currently in grades 1-7 and will be entering grades 2-8 in the fall of the Summer Camp year. Campers bunk in the dorms with kids their own age and may request to be bunkmates with their friends who enroll with them for the same session. They will have the opportunity to interact with other age groups for all other activities.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Once children enter 9th grade, they become Counselors in Training (CITs), followed by Junior Counselors (JCs). Through this 4-year progressive program, CITs and JCs learn leadership skills, responsibility, independence, and program creation. They support campers by supervising, leading classes, and building impressive scenes for the theme of each week.&lt;br /&gt;
